Eligibility for teacher training in MBSR, MBCT & MSC
You live at home or arrange your own accommodation. The intention for this urban retreat is to blend more into your everyday life. During the day we practice together led by the two teachers and in the evening the challenge is to lead yourself in your everyday environment, perhaps in relation to family and others. The intention is to be in silence for five days. Being in silence also at home is a prerequisite for the retreat to be eligible for teacher training in MBSR, MBCT and MSC.
Most of our joys, and most of our stress arise in contacts and communication, where emotions and patterns are easily set off, and where it is often challenging to maintain the calm and insights from our individual meditation practice.
Interpersonal Mindfulness practice helps us cultivate more awareness in relationships and develop a wiser way of being in contact with ourselves and others. It offers the opportunity to observe and release habitual ways of relating and take our practice “off the cushion” into everyday life.
This retreat offers an opportunity to experience a deeper self-understanding, which creates attunement and can enhance our relationships. Individual meditation will be alternated with practice in pairs.
09.00 – 12.00 meditation
12.00 – 14.00 lunch and own time
14.00 – 17.00 meditation and meditation practice in small groups
17.00 – 09.00 silence continues at home
Is this a retreat for you?
This retreat welcomes people with meditation experience, for instance graduates from the MBSR, MBCT or MSC programs (8-week). As interpersonal mindfulness practice supports wisdom and inner calm in relationships, participants working with people, for instance as a teacher, coach, therapist or otherwise, might find the program especially helpful.

About the venue
This is how Per Anders Fogelström describes the place.
“Fjällgatan is today the most beautiful street in this city. An old-fashioned narrow street that stretches along the mountain edge, with retained cobblestones closest to the house walls and with lanterns that extend from the walls of the houses. Then the street suddenly opens up and gives a fantastic view of the city and the water. ”
